Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vestra, a free tech-education platform operated by the Anti-Social Vices Club of RALEBC ("Vestra", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using Vestra, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Vestra is intended for learners aged 13+ and above. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide (name, email, and optional phone number) is accurate, and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Vestra gives learners free access to curated tracks and courses. Each course is made up of modules that link to third-party learning resources (for example, YouTube videos, official documentation, and articles from other publishers) that Vestra does not own, host, or control. We select and organise these resources, but we do not guarantee their continued availability, accuracy, or content — a linked resource may change or be removed by its original publisher at any time.

Where you complete a course or track, Vestra may issue you a certificate of completion. This certificate reflects completion of Vestra's own curriculum tracking and is not an accredited academic qualification unless explicitly stated otherwise.

When using Vestra, you agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, the admin panel, or the platform's underlying systems.
• Use the platform to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Vestra's course structure or content for a competing commercial service without our permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's normal operation (for example, through automated abuse of our systems).

The Vestra name, branding, and the way course content is organised and presented belong to us. Course modules that link to third-party resources remain the property of their original creators/publishers, and your use of that content is subject to the third party's own terms. Certificates issued by Vestra remain Vestra's property and may be revoked if we determine they were issued in error or obtained through a violation of these Terms.

Tracks, courses, and modules are curated by Vestra administrators. We make reasonable efforts to ensure linked resources are appropriate and relevant, but we do not pre-screen every piece of third-party content in full and are not responsible for content hosted by external sites.

Vestra is provided "as is" and "as available," free of charge, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any linked third-party resource will remain available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vestra and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform, including reliance on any third-party content linked from a course module.

You may stop using Vestra and request deletion of your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how to do this). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of Vestra after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
